Matchmaking

The demo is a group game, and not everyone has a group. This board is a fan-run list of people who want to play Fart Together on Steam (Windows). It is not GamesMrkt’s matchmaking, and it is not inside the game.

Posts are public. They expire (two hours unless the server is configured otherwise). There are no accounts.

Before you post

• Say whether you need a group or already have one and need players.
• Pick a region and the language you will call directions in.
• The game is 2–4 players. Ask for 1, 2, or 3 more, not a fifth.
• If you share a Steam friend code or a Discord name, anyone reading the board can see it. Paste the code, not a profile URL. Links are rejected.
• Don’t post phone numbers, payment offers, or anything you would not say in a public lobby.

Voice is optional. The store description treats timing as the hard part, so say if you can use a mic.

The GamesMrkt Discord is the developer’s server (SteamDB social link, 22 October 2026) and may be a better room for a longer session. This board is the short-lived public list.

Note Up to 280 characters. Links are blocked. Steam friend code or Discord name Optional, public, and shown as text. Paste a code, not a URL.

Rules that are enforced

• Cloudflare Turnstile on new posts.
• One new post per network address about every 10 minutes.
• A small blocklist, plus a hard block on links.
• A report button. Three reports from different networks hide the post. Reports are rate-limited. This is a stub, not a full moderation desk.
• Expired posts leave the public list. Raw IP addresses are not stored. The server keeps a salted hash for those limits.

Details of the API and the environment variables are in the project README. If the form says the API is not configured, the static site was built without PUBLIC_LFG_API_URL and PUBLIC_TURNSTILE_SITE_KEY.
